Last month, the IBDGC met for the 2025 IBDGC Face-to-Face Meeting at the Broad Institute, coinciding with ASHG 2025. 🧬 What drives perianal Crohn’s disease?
Our study links a loss-of-function variant in CFB to increased pCD risk. This mutation disrupts complement cleavage + phagocytosis, revealing a new immune mechanism in pCD pathogenesis.
