Time doesn't stand still. After 6 years away from J2V8 I took a stab and updating it, and that was a lot of work. I've published 6.3.4 (it was supposed to be 6.3.0, but there were a few failed releases today).

The Jays were last place last year and they just came *this* close to winning The World Series. But the Dodgers won and that’s how it goes. I grew up in Toronto and seeing them win back to back World Series will forever be a one of my greatest childhood memories. I’ll always love them. Go Jays Go! 🇨🇦

I remember when it was 4-1.
I remember when it was 8-1.
And I was at game 7 against LA in '93...

This was harder.
Been a Toronto sports fan for four decades and I think that’s the single most heart-breaking loss I’ve ever witnessed.

Man, if Kiké tries just a LITTLE HARDER to catch that ball in the ninth, the Blue Jays win.

In a less imperfect world, Musk and Trump would be forever cast as killers of children, and this would be front-page news for months and the subject of Sunday sermons in every church.
NEW: The death shadow cast by Musk.

“When U.S.-supported soup kitchens were forced to close, babies starved quietly, their mothers said, while older siblings died begging for food.”

The world’s richest man did this to the world’s poorest children.

Don’t ever forget.
In Sudan, where children clung to life, doctors say USAID cuts have been fatal
The Trump administration’s cuts to USAID had an immediate and deadly impact in war-ravaged Sudan, according to civilians, doctors and aid officials.

I'm old enough to remember the supply chain issues from COVID.
The port of Seattle right now. It's completely empty with no new ships coming in.

We're going to have disruptions to access of basic goods unlike anything we have ever experienced in our lifetimes.

I've built a number of LLM based dev tools, including a Code Review tool and Risk Analysis tool, and this matches my experience too.

I've settled on Rust as my control language, but I wonder if @deno.land would be a good fit for these small, focused agents, especially with its permission model.
This very closely mirrors my experie ce of the last several weeks of prototyping. It’s very easy to get something that’s 80% good. Carrying it the rest of the way really does mean thinking about the problem roughly as this link describes. github.com/humanlayer/1...
