The BBC reported that video exists everywhere on social media, they reported on the local anger, and they reported that federal authorities are presenting another narrative. All of that is valid. It's clearly a deliberate and unnecessary killing, but it's not the BBC's job to spell it out.

Not really. If you changed the headline word to 'invade' it would be inaccurate. The truth is that the US is trying to 'acquire' or 'get hold' of Greenland. The article goes on to describe the US considering all options including 'invade' and 'buy'.
