The only "winners" from the whole Charlie Kirk incident are America's enemies who are getting exactly what they want to see - the US ripping itself apart politically.

Wow, talk about overexplaining a lie.
Kevin Hassett: "The data can't be propaganda. The data has to be something you can trust, bc decision-makers throughout the economy trust that these are the data that they can build a factory because they believe, or cut interest rates. If the data aren't that good, it's a real problem for the US."

Only looking at the stock chart, do you think Trump's tariffs had a positive or negative effect on GM's vehicle sales when they announced earnings today?

This is true: The Trump administration said it has imposed a 10% tariff on the British Indian Ocean Territory, whose only inhabitants are the U.S. and U.K. service members at the military base on Diego Garcia.
Incredibly, this appears to be true. We tariffed our own (jointly operated with the UK) military base.
We tariffed BIOT, Mike.

BIOT. Diego fucking Garcia.

We tarrifed our own military base.

You saw this during the pandemic. Companies will take any excuse to raise prices. Remember when so many companies blamed supply chains? Guess what they're gonna blame again? This'll likely result in the US gov implementing a department just to combat price-push inflation AKA "bad policy"
It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory.

Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.

So yeah if the CPC loses the election, here’s the main reason why: refusing to see that the uncertainty (and, in fact, the whole crisis) is entirely the creation of the White House.

Trump enjoys uncertainty because it makes him feel powerful. He’s been explicit about it.

CUSMA/USMCA is his deal.

"Why not end the uncertainty that is paralyzing both sides of the border and that is also costing us jobs today," says Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre as he pledges an immediate renegotiation of the CUSMA trade agreement if his party forms government.

Wikler: Musk deleted that tweet because he knows that that tweet was a crime, and it's still a crime in Wisconsin law. It is plain as day. You cannot promise something of value in order to induce someone to vote or refrain from voting. This is Wisconsin statute, and it's a felony to cross that line.
