A small child approaches his scientist father who is working at a large, strange, contraption. His face pressed to a viewing tube.

“Are you looking forward to Christmas, papa?” Asks the child.

“Yes,” replies the scientist“ turning round, “that is exactly what I am doing” then he adds “Thank you for the socks.”

We can now see that the viewing tube breaks the border of the comics panel, passes through complicated machinery and allows the scientist to see into the next comic panel:

Worked as an on-call computer tech for about a year, and I've seen some weird shit. Plenty of Hoarders, elderly men with interesting sexual fantasies, Multimillonaire Lawyers with closets full of gay porn, etc.
The weirdest one was this cool old dude who had retired and lived in a double-wide trailer in a fairly nice retirement trailer park. His house had one of those trains that traveled along the walls from room to room, occasionally poking through walls and such. The primary purpose of this train was to carry his bird (a blue macaw IIRC) around the house.
From his explanation, the bird had some birth defects and had difficulty flying, so they built the train for the bird to cruise around the house on.
This may not sound all that weird to you, but let me set the stage for you:
You're a college student removing a stupid browser hijack from some old guy's computer. You're nearly done with the job when you hear a clacking sound and look up to see a toy train crossing your vision. Aboard the train is a decently sized bird that makes eye contact with you and says "choo choo motherfucker" before disappearing into the next room.
One of the most surreal moments of my life.

something bad is happening to me i fear #zosan #onepiece

one piece fan comic; the first panel is sanji in the bathroom, gripping the sink and staring into the mirror. he is saying, "alright sanji...you can do this. it's time to live your life...and flirt...with a MAN!".
panel 2: sanji is staring at you now and gripping the sink still, face manic. he is shouting, "you are in the prime of your life! you can do anything!" somebody outside shouts, "sanji! hurry up in there we only have the one bathroom!"
in the last panel, sanji is suddenly outside standing next to a chill zoro. sanji is not chill, and is sweating nervously and blushing and smiling weirdly. he thinks to himself, "heheheheheh, this is it..."
zoro says, "yo cook. what's up?" to which sanji replies, "oh, nothing much..."

panel 1: sanji continues nervously, but he is determined, "just, uh, looking for something to, uh, heh... 'occupy my time'..."
panel 2: sanji gives a big darling wink and smile. you can tell he's doing it because it says wink! above his head in curly writing and we can omnisciently see his closed eye through his emo bang.
panel 3: however, zoro cannot see this, and he thinks, "why's he staring like that?" he scratches his face and looks to the side as he says, "uh, why don't you do like a puzzle or something?" off screen, sanji replies, "i uh, had something else in mind..."
panel 4: zoro turns and walks away, saying "well IDK then good luck with that." sanji, devastated that he failed, looks on with a strained smile and bloodshot eyes as his cigarette falls out of his mouth.
