I am Alessandro, an italian pixel artist. I like ancient places, magical creatures and adventures! I usually like tiny canvases and focus on detailed environments.
Here's a few recent pieces.
A collection of tiny pixel art pokemon scenes, featuring: 1. Chinchou swimming under the waves 2. Lanturn jumping above the waves at night 3. Corsola on the seafloor 4. Horsea in a cave underwater 5. Seadra in a kelp forest 6. Kingdra among whirlpools 7. Swinub at home, sleeping on a carpet 8. Piloswin taking a bath in hot springs 9. Mamoswine traversing a snowstorm 10. Cleffa hovering in space 11. Three Clefairy dancing at Mt. Moon Crater 12. Clefable in the middle of a pond, looking at the stars 13. Porygon in a strange labyrinth 14. Porygon2 running on a mobius strip 15. Porygon-Z floating in an old screensaver 16. Bonsly sitting on the porch as the rain starts to fall 17. Sudowood taking shelter from heavy rain in a mountain cave 18. Mew looking at the viewer through fish-eye lens 19. Sunkern floating in a summer meadow 20. Sunflora basking in the sunlight over a sunflower field 21. Celebi flying through Ilex Forest A pixel art reimagining of Southern Face Shrine boss room, seen from above. The arena is surrounded by brick, curved walls; the structure is encircled by by stained glass windows atop each side. The central window showcases the Wind Fish Effigy. As the glass and candles create an iridescent atmosphere in the arena, Link is ready to face the colossal Armos Knight, as they both wield a sword and a shield. Behind the mighty foe, a stone face carved into the wall can be seen: its mouth opens into a dark corridor, leading to the innermost sanctum and its dark secrets. A top-down view of a cathedral-like structure, with many columns. At the very center, a giant baldachin, firmly standing on twisted columns. The altarpiece is mounted in a rich baroque frame, surmounted by stained glass rose window. A richly adorned pipe organ can be seen to the eastern gallery. Along the transept in front of the absis, two enclosed naves host a Pietà statue and a reliquiary. Many huge chandeliers hang above the central nave, and lots of candles are scattered around the cathedral. Below the Cahedral, an underground Ossuary crypt, with walls made out of bones and skulls. An eerie light permeates the various locales, featuring grates, numerous walls of wax, monumental coffins and pillars. The Tower above houses a giant bell. A faraway city can be seen from the terrace. A collection of pixel art interiors, featuring: 1. A tall, hollow tree house, with walkable branches on the right. A bard is playing his guitar inside. Outside, a mushroom man, some moths and a snake. 2. The bottom of the well, as the player swims. 3. An old observatory, with a huge telescope. 4. A blacksmith house, divided in two parts: to the right, the actual home, with a bed and the anvil area; to the left a japanese-like bathroom, with a tiled bath tub. 5. A mysterious magic palace with floating orbs and a huge floating crystal. A demon is guarding the altar. 6. A pirate hideout, inside a cave. Cannons and barrels are kept there, as the captain stands in the center; the sea can be seen through cave openings at the top.

2 risograph prints. one is a collection of images: a molted cicada shell and a bundle of plant stalks trailing off into tendrils & tied by a yellow ribbon over panels of train tracks surrounded by grass & trees under a reddish sky; the dark entrance to a tunnel; a shadowy crowd. the other shows foliage hangs around a looming cave mouth—total darkness hides whatever may be inside. in a small panel above, slashes of red spill out into swirls of teal & ochre. risograph printed cover art for Side Story: an assemblage of panels showing glimpses into different scenes and symbols: ruins in an arch, a doorway over the sea, a ladder against a tree, a kite in the sky; dice, knucklebone, hourglass, clover chain. a comet sweeps over scattered flames, suspended between a starry night sky & a nervous system. symbols (an eye, a sickle, a drop of blood, texts on a phone, a mushroom, lightning, a mirror, a bird) are arranged in small panels around the scene. a biological tree of life poster: small panels show examples of animals from different phyla, including spiralia (octopus, giant clam), chordata (birds, mammals, fish), amblacraria (urchins, sea stars), and porifera (sponges). behind them are curving branches of a symbolic tree, in shades of blue. other panel sequences show different cellular processes, and the sun & moon in endless procession.

a repeat pattern of pink and blue hydrangea bouquets. they're in a diamond-shaped arrangement with leafy borders and little hearts in between. a repeat pattern of swans swimming among lily pads; each swan is wearing a little pink bow. a few doodles of toys from The Dog, a brand which i think peaked from like 2004-2006. i had a few of these when i was a kid and i remember them quite fondly!! a repeat pattern of various illustrated stamps, all of little doodles (fruits, flowers, my cat, etc).
