@phantomstrider.bsky.social I just saw your most recent vid and when you mentioned the 1/3 pounder it reminded me in some places you can get a 1/2 pounder too. They sell them at a US/UK chain called Wimpy. All Wimpy's were closed in Australia by 1976 because they couldn't complete with McDonald's.

@dirtyfeed.org Did you see that Comic Relief Gladiators sketch? I had high hopes but it might be the worst sketch I've ever seen. 2 hours in and so far the best bit has been a Mr Bean sketch from the early 90s that was cut down from 5-10 mins to about 2 and a half at most.

Interesting to see how similar but different it is with the parts that didn't make it into the finished product. Should put it on the next DVD set.

Bring back audience sitcom. The presence of an audience forces both the writers and performers to actually make it funny. Some of these single-camera things can go an entire episode without anything resembling a joke.

@cwickham.bsky.social Simpsons Season 32 starts its first non-Sky showing 16th January at 7PM on E4, just so you know. My TV guide doesn't list what's new and what's a repeat so I had to actually click onto the listing. It seems only 7pm showings are new, other eps that day are all repeats.

In the New Year, apparently The Simpsons is permanently moving from regular Channel 4 to E4 instead. I know it’s only a tiny change but since it’s been on C4 since I was born I’m genuinely distraught. 💔 I know how people felt when it left the BBC now.

Today my first dog Sadie would have turned 20 years old. She was awesome and I still think about her every single day.
