I'm currently working on the main antagonist for my book. Basically, I want her evil. Like, irredeemable kind of evil. I'm sick of villains you can sympathize with, especially making waifus out of female villains. I want genuine hatred for this character. I want her to be feared by the reader.

Got both flu and covid vaccine last night, free with my insurance, and even though I feel pretty good about myself and much safer, my arm hurts like someone hit it with a hammer :(

Two other work friends are ready my first 20 chapters. I'm nervous, because I told them to be 110% honest with me. One of them reads all the time, and is very critical and hard to please. So if she likes it, that means I'm in.

#libraries are one of the best thing to pay taxes into. You can just walk into one, grab a random book without even looking up reviews or stars, and leave with it. If you hate it, return it. You're supporting something wonderful with the #library

I created these two characters years ago; two cops, who were originally super random, because I wanted to flesh out the opening chapter's event of the main character murdering a man. I figured, just for continuity, make it a murder mystery. Those two became core, main characters too.

I had a mini heart attack when I thought someone was trying to hack my google account so I changed the password and did a two factor. Then my main desktop wouldn't let me sign in until I put a passkey in, which I didn't remember. Drive has my whole book. Freaking out. Luckily one actually worked.

I have to be up at 5am to come in on my day off and my brain chooses now of all times when I'm trying to fall asleep to flood my brain with ideas. I just structured two books instead of sleep. Fml.

I have been writing this chapter, which is now 16 pages long, for 14 days. 9 of those days being on vacation, so I had no excuse. I literally cannot finish it.
