I find myself wanting to ask the question, why is my government so against regulating so many things that cause so much harm, but they want to BAN so many things that help ALLEVIATE harm?

I think we need to start being a hell of a lot more honest about the fact that 1) Roe v Wade is gone and it isn't coming back and 2) the ruling was NEVER enough to adequately protect anyone's right to make decisions about their own bodies.

Here lately I find that I am angry and freaked out and depressed and yet somehow fairly regularly incredibly joyful. Sometimes all of the above at once.
How? Not a single solitary clue. Could be resilience, could be mental illness. Maybe I've just embraced the nihilism. We're besties now. 💖
