Happy Tax Day!

Proposed legislation would prioritize the well-being of more than one million Rhode Islanders over the continued benefit of about 5,700 tax filers — the top 1% — by creating a 3% surtax on income above $625,000 (after all deductions).

Homes RI's monthly policy call will be held from 1-2 p.m. ft. an update from our partners at the NLIHC on federal legislation.

Then from 2-3 p.m. we’ll stay on Zoom and make calls to our Congressional urging them to take action to protect HUD programs and staff!
