Really feel like I’m losing my mind: government OBVIOUSLY cannot punish an individual law firm for hiring someone it disfavors! It’s ludicrously unconstitutional and I feel like without a day of law school I could argue the case. And yet the best paid lawyers in the country are folding?

This turned out to be very positive and affirming - we did discuss the potential risk posed by 'race & ethnicity' in the current political landscape and shared our determination about doing this work
I'm attending a luncheon for faculty who teach courses that fulfill the university-wide race & ethnicity curriculum requirement as well as admin who are involved with that and I'm curious if we'll discuss politics at all - we should because we'll probably be ransomed out of our jobs before long
