If the U.S. military isn't going to release details on the justification for killing 11 civilians in a civilian boat who weren't posing a threat to anyone, then we have to conclude the "justification" is: the U.S. military is willing to kill civilians to give Trump social media content.

This is Wally [a black tuxedo kitten]. Wally arrived to us when he was just 3 weeks old after being found by a good Samaritan in a Walmart parking lot, all alone and freezing cold.
By the time Wally arrived to our shelter, his nose and paw pads were white, he was dehydrated and very weak. Since his arrival, Wally has been in foster with a staff member receiving around the clock care. We wondered what was keeping Wally going given how sickly he was when he arrived...
Rage. We discovered it was rage. Wally was an agent of chaos and oozed sass. He lived in a state of perpetual annoyance with his little tail whipping around, ears pinned back, sideways crab walking while we attempted to wrangle him for feedings, baths, and general care. The cat toys felt his wrath, especially Mr. Mousie. It's understandable we all mostly take it as a given that Trump doesn't bother to adhere to Constitution or the laws passed by Congress, but it is still both (a) absolutely necessary for our democracy and (b) good political strategy for Dems to file articles of impeachment over this.
There's no declaration of war, and no AUMF that covers this. Entering this war is wrong on the merits; we had a perfectly peaceful way to address Iran's nuclear program. It's also unlawful. A democratic republic should not be able to enter a war of choice on one man's say-so.
The US has hust dropped bombs on three Iranian nuclear sites, according to Trump, bringing American military forces into Israel’s war with Iran.

Setting aside the incredibly dangerous and fascist aspect of this, is there actual evidence that Khalil was a “Hamas supporter”? Or is the standard for a green-card holder being sent to a secret location and possibly deported just “critical of Israel”?

Still thinking about Newsom. For a Democratic leader to consent to a framework that portrays trans people as a group that is trying to take something away from other people is flatly unforgivable. It is what the right does. And a Democrat who will do it to one group will do it to any group.
