I was gonna put up my Christmas tree today but I couldn’t decide which tree (peach/white ombré or black) to put up so I just rearranged the furniture to make room for it and plugged in a string of fairy lights, which is actually similar and fine

Cooked some black eyed pas for gumbo but just ended up eating them with plain rice and it was so good. I’m having a lot of trouble with liking food lately so anything I think is good is a miracle at the moment. 💥

I worked in the kitchen, food running, prepping, and expediting yesterday and I apologize but I loved it (except when I had to touch raw bacon). Today I'm at the front desk and it's super boring, but the chances of having to touch any bacon are greatly diminished up here.

Still working on my plans for what to make for Friendsgiving. I am obsessed with making my versions of super traditional dishes, but I feel like regular people are not as jazzed up by, like, green bean casserole. But I am! That shit rules.
