For #FossilFriday, we have a fossil from our editor Masaya Iijima.

This is specimen XM 12-1558, from Xinhui museum in Guangdog, China. It belongs to Hanyusuchus, a large (>6 m) crocodylian that became extinct only a few hundred years ago in south China, likely due to habitat loss and hunting 🐊
