My doctor just messaged me and back about a vaccine
She said I am not even eligible for the booster until I turn 65 and it only protects against one type of pneumonia which I why I still got double pneumonia

Biggest difference I can see at the moment is if course he's not wheezing or short of breath BUT he's also able to sleep
This pneumonia is impossible to rest well with. I sleep maybe 2-3 hours at one time and then I have to sit up

If you can avoid catching some respiratory viruses by way of vaccine or avoiding the world, I suggest it
I have been getting a pneumonia shot every 5 years but it wasn't enough
