Happy day to all! One of my favorite visitors, the Pine Marten! I love their high energy level. They have a high metabolic rate, and semi- retractable claws. They are excellent swimmers, and are able to rotate their ankles 180 degrees!

I saw this story about a woman being sentenced to 90 days in prison for stealing four chickens and couldn’t help but contrast that with the teenager who was convicted of raping two girls and got…community service. Property theft deserves a more severe punishment than rape? Sick society.
