Today's hike was to a dreich Loch Lee and a view of my favourite place name: The Shank Of Inchgrundle. Inchgrundle is the white steading near the loch shore. The shank is the shallow ridge with a track winding its way up into the clouds. #Scotland #Angus

Well that's my reading sorted for the next few months. Isaac Asimov's best in machete reading order. I have read all but four at some point but all a long time ago. #asimov

As well as your std blue Bluebell we also have lilac and white varieties here in Banchory. There are quite a few patches of the lilac ones but I have only come across one patch of the white ones.

Here's a sneak peek at something I've been working on for a while: a cohort analysis of support for Scottish secession, seeking to offer (early) evidence on whether voters grow more unionist as they age.

The answer (thus far) is no.
