Both of those are true. Unfortunately. That the best the US has had in living memory still supported genocide is unfortunate and doesn’t give me confidence anyone will ever be held to account.

In the town next to me they’re deporting an 19 yo dreamer, brought her as a toddler by her parents. She was an athlete, local high school graduate and local college student. She’s about to be deported to a country she has no memory of, where she doesn’t speak the language and has no family there. 😡
