Final day of service today for the RIBA Library at 66 Portland Place as we are closing prior to our building’s refurbishment. Temporary services will be provided from later this year until we are back! Last minute researchers in today for a final fix of the 1930s splendour of our home.

Cannington Viaduct nr Uplyme, Devon, seen in wintry surroundings today. 3rd arch from left in the photo had to be reinforced, apparently during its construction.. the viaduct was in use on the Axminster-Lyme Regis railway line, 1903-1965
