😡The Norwegian parliament voted by 80-20 in favour for commercial #DeepSeaMining while scientists warn mining could devastate marine life. While EU and UK have called for a temporary ban on deep-sea mining because of environmental concerns bitly.ws/39z9X

Time to break with traditions - at least when it comes to #eel. Eels are critically endangered and should not be caught, sold or eaten - not even for #Christmas lunch. Farmed eel is also not an alternative because farmed eel also comes from wild stock. #CFP

Bottom trawling is responsible for so much biodiversity loss and destruction, it’s mind boggling how it’s still allowed even in e.g. most EU MPAs…
