I switched to linux a few days ago because windows was being a little cunt but I can't leave windows yet so I'm trying to install it again since 1am, it's now 5am and I remember it not being such a pain in the ass to install windows is this only me?

If you are planning on learning Unity I recommend "Lost Relic Games" on YouTube If you search tutorials on YouTube you'll probably be greeted with Brackeys I won't say he's bad but he uses some pre-made stuff in his tutorials which won't be useful if you want to learn how to do everything #gamedev

Someone logged in to my Microsoft account So I tried to login myself to change password because it wasn't me earlier and here's where it gets interested I get an otp for ME to sign in meanwhile someone else signed in and they didn't need any otp

The only reason you need to build a game engine is if no other engine does what you need or if you want to learn, any other reason is just not worth it

For all of you programmers or anyone who has a thousand tabs open try this extension I just got to know of it, you can save all of your tabs without having them open all the time

Apparently Sony tried to patent the rewind mechanic you know like the one in Prince of Persia or in Forza Horizon And I've heard more patents like this how is this allowed like I doubt most gamedevs even know about these insane patents #gamedev #videogames
