As my own creative outlets run dry, I want to champion the work of others instead. I want my support, however meager, to uplift and encourage. As I commission where I can, Kickstart this project or that, or pre-order a new comic, I hope that helps remind those creators of why they love what they do.

I’ve been trying to decide if I ought to show off any of the commissions I’ve gotten of Pepperbox. I would prefer to repost the artists’ submission, as they deserve every credit and promotion possible. Buuut, of artists who’ve drawn her that are also here on Bluesky, none have posted the artwork.

I’ve seen an artist do “sponsor a personal artwork”. It was 1/4 of the price of a commission and if you pay it they work on a personal project. I actually love this and wish more artists did it.
