Visitors to the diving gondola in Zingst absurdly watch a 3D film on the monitor during the dive. Drawing inspiration from Martin Parr’s perspective on mass tourism, I examined the interplay of beach culture, architecture and identity at the seaside resort of Zingst on the Baltic Sea. I tried to capture the presence of the sea and convey an atmosphere of lightness and leisure in my photographs, while grounding them in the setting of Zingst.

In recent months, the former Holsten Brewery site in Hamburg has been transformed into a lunar landscape. The brewery was due to be demolished, with the exception of the historic buildings, and the area was to be developed for new construction. However, as a result of the investor＇s bankruptcy, the site has been filled with rubble and debris for the past three years.

Description In the seaside resort of Zingst on the Baltic Sea, tourists can take a diving gondola to a depth of around 4 metres at the far end of the jetty. They can then look through large windows at the murky waters of the Baltic Sea. The illuminated gondola is also a piece of local jewellery.
