I'm delighted to share our study on what people with #Parkinson's disease & family members consider important to measure in #dysphagia interventions.

Key message: penetration/aspiration is really important, but fear of choking may be overlooked in current research studies.

Hearing the voice of the person is often the missing piece of the jigsaw in PBS - glad that talking mats has a role to play in helping the individual’s views be heard
From the University of Kent, Dr Jill Bradshaw and Dr Nick Gore talk about their research: involving people with intellectual disabilities in their positive behavioural support. The research used @talkingmats.bsky.social to have conversations about behaviours with adults with ID.
