Just had to block another “I am ignoring your obvious joke in order to make pious, sanctimonious point that nobody needs to see” account.

Remarkable how so many people have no sense of humour whatsoever.

To all my new connections from TikTok, I just want to say:

Left shuffle, arm roll, moon walk, Hokey Cokey, wave form, head tilt, pirouette, back slide, robot shuffle, sashay, air guitar finish.

All to lip synced “Tragedy” (Steps’ version obvs!)

Genuinely delighted that Tony Mowbray is back. Excellent manager at this level and has learned to temper the all out entertainment with a (little) protection.

Delighted that he’s fit and well enough to take the role as well and he “gets” the club. 1/2

Lovely morning spent blocking the surprisingly attractive young ladies that all decided to follow me overnight.

1,000 “who they follow” and 8 “follows them” is a bit of a giveaway. Especially alongside 0 posts.

I know I’m a pessimist, 50 years of Albion will do that to anyone.

But if anyone expected us put on a show this in the FA Cup they haven’t been paying attention, firstly for the last 20 years in the cup and secondly to how bad our squad is compared to the 1st team.

Great result.

Attractive attacking play 1st half. Energy conservation and borefest second half.

Will definitely face tougher opponents but the truth is we’ve a 100% record this year. 😉

Interesting listening to The Rest Is Football today. A Morgan Rogers interview. Says that, at the time, the West Brom academy was one of the best in the country. Also that so many of them are now at Villa it’s like going home!

Makes you think about damage our failure to invest there has done 1/2

Just want to wish all those I am connected with, and indeed everyone, a happy, healthy and prosperous 2025.

Not you, Valencia CF!

The Outnumbered Christmas special is really poor.

Not sure why they did that.

Not sure what Racic is supposed to be there for.

Static, ponderous and so lightweight for a relatively big man. Perhaps Dobbins’ loan replacement should address this issue.

If you haven’t already shared the Quality Street tub for breakfast, and added alcohol to your coffee, is it even Christmas?

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate. (Except FC Valencia.)

So Carlos is going/gone.

Perhaps now, some of the moaners will see what a job he has done with what is a limited squad with little depth.

As for replacements, I am concerned about some of the out of work Managers available and we certainly won’t be paying compensation for anyone.

Important thread today and tomorrow.

Don’t forget the same treatment should be given to home delivery drivers.

To sum up. Don’t be a dick.
Okay folks. It's December 23rd. If you're out shopping anywhere today (but especially at a bookstore, wherein my experience most lies), there is but one rule: Don't. Be. An. Asshole.

Expanded, this rule breaks down in to ten sub-clauses:

The greatest fantasy world wasn't made by J K Rowling or George R R Martin, or even Tolkein. It was made by Terry Pratchett. It's only the fact that no one has ever made a decent screen adaption of Discworld that more people don't think so.

Got to be said that it’s between Grant and Heggem for player of the season so far, even with Maja’s goals.

Grant is a revelation over the player who left which is massive credit to him for turning it round.

Dan Ashworth, along with an excellent scouting team, did wonders for West Brom when he was here.

However, the money he and new scouts would cost is so far above what we can afford that anyone suggesting we “go and get him back” will be very disappointed.

Might as well suggest we chase De Bruyne

Getting thoroughly fed up with property owners on VRBO taking an enquiry as a booking and then processing payment requests.

3 times now for next year, all from people who don’t respond and don’t provide answers to the queries.

Tried watching Citadel Diana on @amazonprime.bsky.social
The dubbing is so bad I can’t watch it.

Why not subtitle it?

I wasn’t at Hillsboro so can’t comment on the response reported by some Albion fans.

However, no-one should not come home from watching a game of football.

I hope that,as awful as it is for friends, family and the witnesses, the fan who died was amongst friends and doing something he loved.

RIP

I think all round it’s a case of “Never mind the quality, feel the points”.

Good first half dropped off after the break. It was obvious why so many of us were disappointed not to get a striker in the window.

Very happy with the #WBA transfer window. We appear to have strengthened the squad overall, reduced the average age of the likely first pick team and reduced our outgoings.

To achieve this only one transfer window after the real fears of bankruptcy is brilliant work by Shilen Patel’s Bilkul team.
