As you celebrate with your families and friends this Eid, take time to honor the martyrs arriving to their families today, the countless martyrs we have already lost, and those enduring unimaginable grief, mourning the loss of their families and loved ones.

These civil defense workers represent the pinnacle of bravery, as they face heavy bombing and artillery to recover the dead and injured from the rubble.

On March 28 the body of one humanitarian mission officer Anwar Abdul Hamid Al-Attar was found buried along with other victims of the massacre. According to the PRCS, the army intentionally altered the site and buried them using bulldozers.

Initial forensic analysis of the recovered bodies shows signs of mass executions, with some bodies found tied up with shots to the head and chest and buried in deep holes. The general assessment is that they were witnesses to a larger massacre and murdered so they would not pass on the story.

On March 23rd 9 PRCS Medics and 6 civil defense workers responding to brutal bombing and ground assault on Rafah went missing. Today 14 of their bodies were found and returned tot their families.

On this Eid & Land Day, we mourn the loss of 9 PCRS paramedics & 6 civil defense workers who were massacred by Israel as they were responding to a brutal attack on refugees in the Tal El-Sultan area of Rafah. This is part of a strategy to systematically attack healthcare & civil defense workers 🧵
