I have read, wrote, experimented, and taught methodology in law/legal studies over 30 years. Here is my take:

1) Tell what you are doing.
2) Explain why you are doing it.
3) Explain how you are doing it.
4) Do it the way you said you would.
5) Avoid big & difficult words in 1-3.

I agree. Some have worried that any move towards limited access to assisted suicide would inevitably lead to expansion under the ECHR.

Well, a number of human rights lawyers, including myself and @anuragdeb.bsky.social think that's a bad argument. See below.
