My prediction / take of #megameganium before any potential announcements for #pokemonlegendsZA at Day 2. #pokemon #playpokemon #meganium Couldn't decide what I wanted to do with the tail.

Worlds this year was incredible but I think we can do MUCH MORE to tell even more stories in this high level of competition!

Support your local VGC scene, support smaller players, support queer competitors! It's the only way for this champion roster to grow even more diverse 💛

The holotype specimen (NMV P256471) was discovered in 2019 by a member of the public for which the species is named: Ross Dullard. It was found in what we informally call unit 1 of the Jan Juc Marl, other taxa from which can be seen in the artwork.

New species of 25 million year old toothed mysticete whale from Australia! 🐋 Say hello to Janjucetus dullardi.

Congrats to @inxcetus.bsky.social's on their excellent first PhD paper. He also did the amazing artwork!
A few years in the making, but I can finally share my first PhD paper and my first ever first-authored whale paper. In it, we name a new species of toothed baleen whale: Janjucetus dullardi. You can find our conversation article here: tinyurl.com/dullardi
A cornucopia of tiny, bizarre whales used to live in Australian waters – here’s one of them
If alive today, these tiny whales would be as iconically Australian as kangaroos.

Q: Pterosaur "fun fact"

We have a baby (barely 6 cm long skull) Kunpengopterus pterosaur preserved surrounded by its own vomit. Doing palaeontology is seeing animals at the worst points in their lives.

So of course, those who do not need to sell such large of a portion of themselves ( like a soul ) do not see the issues of copying, fraud and A.I. / LLMs ( Large Language Models ).
Copying art wouldn't be ( as much? ) of a problem if selling yourself wasn't a key component of staying alive.

All the behaviour from artist that A.I. bros hate stem from the same culture bros perpetuate. In order to stay " economically competitive ", artist have to pigeon hole their skills into certain styles, brand their very being and stave off attempts at replicating their "souls" if you will.

What you do is a large part of who you are, but it does not define you. There is no cutie mark to define you, & none to define the people around you or those in history. Beethoven did more than produce the music you hear in your community, as do the musicians around you. That, is performative.
Calling it now: When more English-speaking folks learn what "performative" actually means, it'll be the next buzzword appropriated by the right. "What do you mean being a [GENDER] is performative? I'll always be [GENDER]!" > "Being a [OCCUPATION] is performative? Don't you take away my identity!"
