so yeah: reminder to TEST whenever you feel sick or might have been exposed (not just once, not just at the start of your symptoms, swab your throat too if possible) & STAY HOME if you're infectious (with covid or otherwise) !!!!!
five years. for five years i've managed to avoid it because i wear my mask & keep my circle small — and now i got it because i sang in a recital *for disabled musicians* where one of the abled individuals decided to attend sick. if this sets me back to 2015 level illness i don't think i can cope 🥲

i've held my tongue bc i'm really not looking to fight with anyone, but i am so tired of the "he was terrible but he didn't deserve this" narrative. no, i think the manner of his death was very well earned. i don't have to approve of gun violence or murder to say he made his own bed
