As an artist AI is an entire existential threat to my livelihood. Theres no need for me to teach what i do if AI is just going to butcher and strip mine the entire industry wholesale. Forcing it in the class via law will kill education outright

I will not teach AI, and I will not allow AI writing in my classes. That's not why I'm in education.

If AOC or someone like her started a progressive party that ran on things like universal healthcare, UBI, protections for immigrants and LGBTQIA people, antiracism, etc., I (and I imagine many others) would gleefully organize and vote for that party, like I think it might actually work

this is one of the weirdest things to hear ppl say because on average every other country knows more about the US than the US knows about them, like I dunno why but this country is genuinely simply uncurious about the rest of the world in a way that is unfathomable in most nations
