So, still listening the the Revolutions Podcast, currently on Series 8, pretty successfully hooked. So, when you’re in a quiz and the question is what year was the French Revolution, the answer can only be “Which one?”

Just finished watching all the series of “Bones” and looking for a familiar boxset to reignite my hope, so I am settling back into Aaron Sorkin’s “The Newsroom”, which always restores my faith, right from the cold open. Highly recommended. Here comes Will McAvoy on vertigo meds….

Still addicted to the Revolutions podcast. I’ve just finished listening to my 4th revolution (English, American, French & Haitian). Humans do truly horrendous things to each other when civilisation goes to hell. I really don’t think we are that far evolved, just a bad year from murderous chaos.

The thing with being obsessed with podcasts, listening chronologically, is when I get a new show, I listen to all the backlog before falling back into my regular timeline - OCDish behaviour. I have discovered “Revolutions” podcast. Now fascinated by English Civil war and American original colonies

It's doing pretty significant numbers for what it is, so while I understand sharing it won't make a difference for those knee-deep in the cult of personality, I'd say it has a better-than-average chance of resonating.

Just finished reading “The Colour of Time” by Dan Jones and Marina Amaral. Fascinating worldwide walkthrough the historical context behind recolourised photos, making linkages between events as I had never read before, through daily life and drama 1850-1960. Really worth it if you can get it.
