one of my favorite new additions to my life in 2024 has been the blue cypress book clubs. tn was the last 2024 meeting of the fantasy book club, the guild, and we made ornaments with the 12 books from this year. it’s been a great way to meet ppl and read books i wouldn’t have picked up otherwise!

THIS. Though the sheer length of the book may dissuade some young readers, parents may just want to be aware that the age appropriateness of the movie/musical is a little different from the book 😅
Look, I'm a bookseller. I want people to buy & read books. That being said, pro tip: if you LOVE Wicked, the musical and/or the movie, I highly recommend NOT reading the book. It is MUCH different and darker and will only disappoint you. The musical is an EXTREMELY LOOSE adaptation & much happier.
