SEVERE THREAT: Most of southeastern Louisiana and all of southern MS are included in a Slight 🟡 risk for severe weather on Saturday. An Enhanced risk 🟠 has been added northeast of us. I wouldn’t be surprised if the higher threat is expanded further into our area as we go through the week.

Here is a first look at snow totals for the winter storm this week. The highest totals will be north of I-12 with some areas getting up to 10". South of the lake we could see 3 to 6 inches of snow with totals quickly declining towards the coast where we just see a wintry mix. @fox8live.com

CHRISTMAS RAIN: Showers and a few storms are possible starting later this morning and lasting through the early evening. There will be some dry times for many but where we do see storms street flooding and lightning will be possible. Isolated areas could see a quick inch or two of rain.
