I love writing, every goddamn aspect of it. I'd sooner cut off my little finger than ask AI for any of it. Seriously.

Remember when BARBIE came out and there were months of online discourse about it and then you went and saw BARBIE and it was an excellent, funny, well-made film?

SUPERMAN is an excellent, funny, well-made film.

I find that issue more of a feature. It is notable all the characters are already established and all know each other. So no time is wasted on introductions. The plot just zips along.
I had a blast w/ SUPERMAN! A movie that kept introducing new, mind-blowing concepts every 10 minutes, and that restored the heart and humanity back to one of our most beloved comic book characters.

The biggest issue? Feels like the 2nd film in a series. Not sure how general audiences will react.

In this interview with Josh Horowitz, Tony Gilroy speaks eloquently about the deep bench of brilliant underused actors in the UK he and Nina Gold drew from for #Andor The reason they’re underused? Snobbery at having been in soaps. It has to change.
