I love my cheap diy Sensirion CO2 sensors but IKEA’s new ones sound phenomenal. The ALPSTUGA is supposed to have PM 2.5, CO2 and be able to eventually control HEPA for $25. I wonder if the communication will be arduino compatible and if you can calibrate them. www.wired.com/story/ikeas-...
IKEA’s Smart Home Reset Goes Back to Basics
Ikea’s new 21-product series of bulbs, sensors, and remotes is dirt cheap, idiot-proof, Matter-ready, and designed to work with everything. But it’s still years from the promised house of the future.

Category 5 storms have been increasing globally beginning in 1982, when satellite data accurate enough to identify these great storms first became available. Ratings are from NHC and the Joint Typhoon Warning Center. Five Cat 5s so far this year, which is near the average of 5.3 Cat 5s/year.

That shitty fighter jet video would be a good defense for anyone the fbi accuses of threatening Trump’s life in a social media post. Trump has the ability to order the military to literally dump brown substances on humans protesting. That act would likely result in deaths.

I just saw “One Battle After Another” and all I can say is WOW! It was good movie to see at the theater, visuals and sound were well done. Penn was something! Body count wasn’t outrageous but there was gun violence. Instructive too.

A massive storm that brought a record storm surge to Alaska was poorly forecast, and “this is one of the clearest possible examples to date where missing upper air soundings due to NWS constraints may have led to a degraded forecast.”

One that affects every student (and teacher), and that we can control, is indoor air quality

Yep. The idea that city/state government is going to “maintain the large, complex infrastructure needed to effectively respond to rare catastrophic events is nonsensical. Having a robust FEMA enables the ongoing maintenance of the needed disaster response infrastructure at a federal level.”
I am incredibly concerned (and angry) after reading this morning's WSJ investigation into FEMA and its accelerating deterioration, and in my daily BalancedWx post I explain why I think you should be concerned as well. Also, my weekly tropical deep dive. More: https://tinyurl.com/yuv86vyt
