I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.
Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO

It’s still a surprise to me that someone so clearly emotionally underdeveloped could rise to such a position.
But anyway, we’re all in for a rough ride and Europe needs to pull together as a team to protect /insulate itself from the Musk-Trump-Russia wildness as fast & thoroughly as possible.

I wish this wasn't so accurate. I've already seen christians half my age speak up in opposition to an assisted dying bill. People who have no experience of caring for someone they love as they suffer unnecessarily at the end.
Here is what’s going to happen.
Assisted dying will be approved everywhere else.
Then the north/NI will be last to eventually introduce it but not before undignified “debates” and many people left traumatised.
That’s the way things usually go here.
