I just looked through the Bandai new item info and noticed something. They doubled down on Gunpla-kun kits having ball joints in upper and lower part of the neck. It weirded me up on the Gunpla-kun and now there are 3 of them. Though the kits look nice and capture the image of Gunpla-kun characters.

The first series was a little too basic for my taste. But when Zeta came out in '85, I think the franchise really came into its own, commercially and artistically. He's been compared to Go Nagai, but I think Tomino has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.
