Prof. Leonhard Grill shared a paper which introduces ULEPD—a photoelectron diffraction method with ~100 fs resolution. It’s ideal for ultrathin heterosystems and reveals both structural and electronic dynamics via trARPES.

We welcome Asma Khizar to the group who recently started her PhD.

She is from Pakistan and has a Master's in Applied Physics from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, and worked on optimizing electrode materials for hybrid supercacitors.

Prof. Boese shared a paper where strong coupling of specific vibrational modes to an optical cavity greatly affected reaction outcome: the disfavored product became favored inside the cavity!
