Good evening blue field.

The sky was yellow and the Sun was blue.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Btw in England they are still debating boilers
Replacing gas boilers is expensive and a national rollout would cost £300bn. But there are other options we should try
A heat pump in every home is nonsense. Here is the real solution

Hello blue farm. I have thoughts

See. Cool science ish
If you have ever wondered why the same view of the second largest moon of Uranus, Oberon, is always used, it's because this is the second best view that Voyager 2 obtained in 1986.. There is one more that is slightly lower quality than this one, and from there it's really bad.

Just checking in on the blue farm to see how it’s going. Yep. That’s about right.

Just checking if I have that near scarlet letter auto tag. Sadly I think I’m too small for the witch burners to care

Reposting like a modern day Cassandra!
If I had one piece of advice for the Bluesky people is would be is to forget going down the path of a bunch of rules ( which will be broken ) or ideals ( which will be generic bullshit ) and amplify the strength - tools that let people interact with only the ones they want to engage.

What’s really amazing to me is after 30+ years people still think you can fix the internet! There’s a weird disassociation that somehow social media is not the internet and it should somehow be different. Good lord.

Ooooh. Just found another one to follow. Although I feel like there’s a lot of Venn overlap on these.

So I see we’ve reached the next stage of evolution of online communities. Culture vultures.

Francine is now apparently a vegan. I politely asked her that we don’t discuss politics.

Please stop worrying about DOGE. Only two things matter in the federal government. Statutory authority and budget. They have neither.

It's also nice starting over with follows and followers. Currently have so few that almost nothing collects dust. I Marie Kondoed the hell out of this ish.

Oh and is there a tweet deck style app for this thing or are the Bluesky people too busy pouring buckets of water on white hot servers?

Stream of conscious thread of my impressions of the new place.

It's nice. Like a new house without any clutter or stains. But those always come don't they.

Most of the people I muted over the past four years aren't here. I assume they are at mastodon making friendship bracelets
