Why are they forcing "A.I." into everything? Hmmmmm, I wonder.... #ai
It is a staple mantra in the games industry, "Our pay for [X] is comparable to the industry's average wages," to which I would reply, "when you're raking in record profits, it's pretty lame to justify substandard pay with, 'that's what everyone else does.'"
Even on projects that don’t feature AI, it’s often difficult to justify how little voice actors get paid for work on projects that sell in the millions

So it’s fascinating to see folks say “they were compensated fairly” repeatedly on this occasion where we don’t even have the voice actors credited.
The argument I'm hearing about it is "the voice actors got paid for it so it's all good"

We don't know how much they got paid, or if they get royalties every time those lines get used.

It's a slippery slope being brushed off because "game good"

if Arc Raiders had plagiarized art, would it matter?

mad as we are (and should be) about the dems caving, remember attention spans are short and this issue isn’t going away — and trump and the GOP will be blamed for it (gift link: www.nytimes.com/2025/11/11/u...)

It makes you an accomplice.

They bowed purely because billionaires were worried we wouldn't buy shit over the holidays. Their donors twisted the knife but what hurts most of all is that they 100% knew they were going to do this & strung us all along.

That is a level of cruelty that can't/shouldn't be ignored.

The reason why flight disruptions were the breaking point for Democrats is that they need to not be in DC as much as possible.

They need to go home. They need to fundraise. They need to not do their job.

Trump and the GOP have now learned that next time, they should start with flight disruptions.

Sanders: Let’s be clear… If this vote succeeds, over 20 million Americans are going to see at least a doubling in their premiums… if resolution is passed tonight, we are on a path way to throw 15 million Americans off of medicaid and the affordable care act, 15 million.

So Democrats get:

1. A CR that will prevent the GOP from facing the wrath of Americans for a shutdown over the holidays

2. A coupon for one (1) meaningless ACA vote that will fail

3. An end to the illegal RIF/SNAP moves that are already before the courts

Those all seem like wins for the GOP.

Back in 2017, I realized the Republican claim of "less spending, fewer taxes, smaller government" was a lie.

They spend the same amount of tax dollars as Democrats: they only choose differently who to collect it from & who gets to be the recipient.

And they LOVE wasting money on war & bailouts. 🧵

All the govt money is now “his” money (in his mind) and he’s going to do all the ridiculous “do anything but pay them” bs. we are going to be going through this sht until he is dead / there’s a huge uprising reversing the coup d’etat.
For fucks sake...

The judge ordered it ALL to be paid for, he keeps trying to ratfuck this shit to death. Recalculating to 50% was already going to take "weeks or even months" - recalculating again like a week in essentially resets the clock on that.

They're trying to drag out the payments.

AOC: I think he should be careful about what cities he threatens because as we see from this electorate—these are not people who take well to threats.

This is going to get spun as a "thermostatic shift" chart, but it should be properly interpreted as a "information environment is broken" chart.

In 2024, voters didn't know what Trump would do, and so they shifted towards him based on vibes. Now they are finding out, and they hate it.
Nearly every county in Virginia has shifted blue in a massive statement against Donald Trump.

Let me put this as simply as possible: If the 60 Minutes editorial team cuts out most of their interview with Trump to make him look his best, and he still comes across as completely demented, then it is extremely likely that Trump actually is completely demented.
