Really proud of the whole team at @futuregovforum.bsky.social for being highly commended as 'One To Watch' at the inaugural @smartthinking.bsky.social awards last night. A real achievement less than two years after we launched.

And congrats to @britishprogress.org who took home the award!

Brilliant blog from @adamterryfgf.bsky.social on the PMs speech & our emerging thinking at FGF: We need a state which disrupts but also creates (that's what sets progressives apart from populists) and where the PM has hit his stride abroad, it's time for a coalition of the willing on home turf
Keir Starmer is right we’re in a new era. We need a transformed state to rise to its challenges @adamterryfgf.bsky.social sets out why the PM should:
* Turn govt inside out
* Disrupt & create
* Lead with purpose
* Build a coalition of the willing in the UK

The gov can't achieve missions alone, so the 3rd in our Mission Critical series looks at how to get the best out of partnerships w/ civil society. Significant change is required across govt but also in civil soc, who must look up from sector based challenges to play a part in transformational change
📣 OUT NOW – Mission Critical 03 📣

New research w/ @thinknpc.bsky.social & @lbfew.bsky.social calls for a new partnership between civil society and Govt, giving the sector a seat at the table in shaping and delivering missions 🧵

It’s been a hell of a year helping get FGF up on its feet and a huge privilege to learn from everyone who has joined our growing forum of thinkers and doers. Feeling very proud of the team.
This time last year, FGF launched with a mission to shape a new operating system for the UK.

It’s been a successful first year, publishing impactful research on mission-driven government, devolution and the transition to power, alongside numerous events including our first Labour Party Conference.
