This may be a bad thing to say about a social media platform but... I like how quiet it is here... I dont pick up the phone 10 times a hour hoping for that dopamine hit. I'm not bombarded with doom scrolling. I still follow enough people on other sites to feel looped in on the news of the day. Cool

I honestly think thats a big problem with Twitter. Everyone is too consumed with trying to be funny or making a joke of things. And don’t get me started on all the sarcasm!

once on a flight from chicago to nyc i spoke to the girl sitting next to me & we became fast friends, hung out together in NYC often, even traveled around europe together. now, when i look back on it i think omg i can’t believe i talked to someone on a plane how embarrassing
