Today commemorates the death of 120 women who died at hands of the police, while protesting for their civil rights. It's a day to acknowledge the inequality that exists, and the hardships we've endured as women.

to me, the funniest thing about vertebrates is that the scales of reptiles and fish evolved into the feathers of birds and the fur of mammals, making a coat over the skin the default form of an animal, so "scaleless" humans are one of the few weird ones
