Submitted my postal vote for the Australian Federal Election last night after researching the parties/candidates, and there is an increase in wacky right-wing parties/candidates. The most difficult decision locally was deciding who to put last between Trumpet of Patriots and One Nation.

It was disappointing, though unsurprising, to hear Chris Minns refer to psychiatrists as "psychologists" today, and refer to the "college of psychologists" as well. The NSW Premier has refused to meet with psychiatrists, just as he has refused to meet with nurses. Egotistical ignoramus.

I have always voted Greens and @australianlabor.bsky.social , but I can't see myself voting labor ever again following the @chrisminnsmp.bsky.social government's treatment of public health psychiatrists. The misinformation and disingenuous acting is going to live long in the memory.
