Unemployment numbers don't tell me what % of people are working 2 jobs or are underemployed. Inflation was lower here than elsewhere globally, but we are talking abt folks already living paycheck to paycheck. Some ppl are extremely out of touch. Go talk w some regular people & see what they say.
Costs have risen and haven't gone down. Small businesses across the country are reporting significantly lower sales than past years. Can we really say that's a good economy? The strippers & weed dealers are saying sales are down too. There is no good economy if working class people are struggling.

The baseball stadium no one wants? Now SAISD has released demands before they share their piece of the land needed to build it. They are demanding investment in their schools & affordable housing for families & staff. We should support that! We should not sell out our communities for profit.

As I’ve been saying, look local. National politics will effect all of us of course, but local politics effect you every single day. This is not just council & mayor, it is also county commissioners & school boards, state races, judges & sheriffs. What happens locally ripples nationally.
