A structure of a ribosome is amazing thing... such a large & complex macromolecular machine. In this case: hibernation as survival strategy!! Insight into how bacteria put themselves into hibernation state to survive.
253 new entries in #PDBrelease (PDBe.org/latest) including a ribosome (PDBe.org/8wib) from a relative to TB with a hibernation promotion factor (pink). HPF is bound in decoding centre of 16S rRNA (small subunit; grey). ALSO: tRNA (green) & large subunit (purple)

It's always good to view the experimental data and see how it supports the coordinates! With small molecules bound to proteins in a Cryo-Em determined structures -- the 'Detail level' option is very helpful :-)
If viewing online on PDBe pages with Molstar:
- make sure to update the map to finer detail level to see how the data supports the ligand.
- click the 3 dots under Volume Streaming, next to view --> 'Detail Level' --> change from 4 to 7
