This is an important objective in our national interest!
Did you know Canada’s provincial electricity grids are more connected to the United States than with each other?

⚡NEW PETITION: Let’s call on the federal gov't to build a truly Canadian east-west electricity grid with new transmission lines & renewable power.⚡

This is an incredibly big deal. A jurisdiction attempting to resuscitate coal against federal law, international norms, and climate imperatives must be stopped.

It is shameful that Saskatchewan plans to extend coal to 2050, when it has the best solar and wind resources in Canada. If every other OECD country has this figured out, and if AB has done it, why can’t we?

This needs to be watched by all.
Our own @hannahritchie.bsky.social did a video last year with Big Think called “What the news won't tell you about climate change” — and it just won gold at the 2025 Telly Awards as the best non-broadcast video on sustainability!

If you think climate change has gotten worse during your lifetime, you're right and there's a good reason.

If you're Gen X like me, more than 3/4 of fossil fuel CO₂ emissions have occurred in your lifetime. Even if you're a Millennial, it's at least half.

My father, Hazen Argue, was the last national leader of the CCF (the precursor to the NDP). If he was alive today he would say to Saskatchewan and Canadian CCF/NDP supporters to vote Liberal in this election. Why-because it supports our sovereign future and progressive aspirations. #cdnpoli #skpoli
Saskatoon University polling for April 11 shows a vote split between the second place Liberal candidate and third place NDP candidate.

Splitting the vote gets us a mediocre CPC backbencher who fights for plastic straws.

A strategic vote in this riding is a Liberal vote.

The war on wind and solar is fuelled by right-wing misinformation and fossil interests.

But renewables keep breaking records, outpacing targets and proving they are viable.

Imagine how much further and faster we could go if political leaders put their full weight behind them!

5 min charging. Wow.
While Musk was making a fool of himself politically, the Chinese were making a fool of him technologically--five minute charging for EVs!

Not only can #windwatersolar replace fossil fuels, but the cost of your energy needs goes way down. Electric machines like #EVs and heat pumps use 50-80% less energy! Save your $ and electrify!
This is now routine.

15 days straight and 31 of 59 (52.5%) in 2025 with 100% #WindWaterSolar on California's main grid for part of the day.

That's 8.1% of all hours in 2025 with 100% WWS. This compares with 1.5% of all hours in 2024.

Gas is down 28% in 2025 vs 2024.
