Small town folks really do not seem to understand that I am not going to magically know who someone is, how to approach them, or the nuances of what happened in their relationship just by hearing their name and giving a vague reference of how long someone's been alive/active.

2 years ago we were talking about our dream wedding and in no rush.
This morning we had to have a conversation about getting the paperwork done on Monday because the supreme court is deciding if its going to reexamine gay marriage in a couple of weeks.

I made social media accounts to see art and make friends and shitpost, and that's actually been super successful for me. I did not make social media accounts to analyze politics, explain the political establishment's rhetorical strategies, or explain fascism but I feel obligated to.
