I admit. I am desperate for Nathan Patterson to come good. I don’t know why but would be a great feel good Christmas miracle.

Some thoughts as a first time visitor to HDS yesterday.

It’s astonishing.

Getting older means increasingly complicated sounding medical diagnoses.

You’ve scraped your knee vs you have a focal right parametric disc extrusions causing severe right lateral recess stenosis.

Massive fan of Channel 4s cricket coverage, obvs.

We have not resorted to that, but I'll tell you, you can tell him now if you're watching it, we're still fighting for this title, and he's got to go to Middlesbrough and get something, and... and... I'll tell you, honestly, I will love it if we beat them, love it!

Played here once in the late 00’s. Tried to play a flamingo shot through the offside a la KP. Got hit on the instep and broke my foot so couldn’t drive home.
Cricket on Kew Green near Richmond in 1980. The ground remains picturesque, despite now being bordered by large roads and with the Heathrow flight path not far away, and has staged cricket for almost 300 years #cricket #kew

12/10 would attend.
If TFG really wanted to win over the fans they’d schedule an additional test event tonight at Bramley Moore for 5,000 supporters and sack Dyche in front of them.

Time it was and what a time it was. It was…..a time of innocence a time of confidences. Long ago, it must be…? I have a photograph, preserve your memories they’re all that’s left to you.

If only his organisation would hurry up and publish the bloody data that would allow universities to do just that, still waiting on data for academic year 22/23…

Gosh this takes me back, I remember absolutely howling with laughter when it first came out.

JESUS CHRIST!

Totally agree with this. Get him a decent manager to work with and I think he can do well.
The Roma 'chaos' says to me we need to keep Thelwell on. Let the new CEO sort the commercial side but we need consistency on the sporting side.

Hold him to high standards but I think he's earned a new deal. Academy work has been great and he's had some good hits in difficult circumstances.

Look Monday, it’s just you and me, ergo I surrender.

So so disappointing.
So that’ll be Doucoure in at the #10
role and our actual #10 Ndiaye *still* being played out wide then?

These starter packs are ace. In my TL I’ve got an academic promoting their book on medieval French above a dude asking when Sean Dyche is going to play Patterson at right back.

Pourquoi est thou persevering avec Ashley Young (first PL game when English kings were still claiming the French throne)?

Hello to all my new followers. I basically post “hello to all my new followers” periodically and complain about Everton. And sometimes the cricket.

Somewhat saddened by the end of the Everton takeover news. It was fun learning about leveraged debt in a football context for a bit. Back to bombing on and getting it in the mixer.

Absolutely my favourite cricketer of the last ten years. Gutsy last day test tons, carefree white ball 50’s, including the fastest English t20 50 of all time, spin bowling that became really very good and enough of a journey for two series of strictly. Thank you Moeen.
'Felt the time was right' - Moeen Ali retires from international cricket
He says the decision was made after not being considered for England's upcoming white-ball series against Australia

I did a BA in Social Policy. My first job was as a crime analyst for the Met Police. I’m now the Chief Business Intelligence Officer for a Russel Group university.
(Pls repost) Re-upping this for a new batch of students and a new batch of #bluesky folks. What was your “useless” degree, your first job out of school, and what are you doing now? 🗃️🗺️
(Pls repost) Folks who majored in history, english, or something else “useless,”what was your first job out of school? What are you doing now? I know there are plenty of online resources about jobs but I’m trying to show my students that careers are often not straight lines.Thank you!!!!
