On #InternationalCatDay, we must do better for our #PetCats. Keeping #cats safe at home is better for cats, better for #wildlife and better for people. Communities across #WesternAustralia are calling for this change now. Thank you #CatHavenWA & #WAFCWG for leading the charge.

Cats have had a HUGE impact on our native wildlife in Australia. They have driven 27 of our native species to extinction. We’ll never get the chance to see the eastern hare-wallaby, desert bandicoot or paradise parrot. They’re gone.

Hi Australian researchers, is there anyone out there doing national (or not) cat or fox genetic research that wants/needs samples? It is a question I get a lot. I know of some past projects, but not sure about what is happening now. Keen to connect samples with researchers and info back to managers.

Tackling the big issue with a new kids book. This time invasive species (rabbit) impacts and the need for more control and revegetation to be done. Relying on viruses alone isn't enough.
